Established in 2008, Wells Dermatology & Medical Spa, located in Apgujeong, Seoul, was founded by Dr. Won Woo Choi and Dr. Won Sin Lee. Our doctors have graduated from the best medical programs that Seoul has to offer including Seoul National University and Yonsei University. With over ten years of experience, our doctors have treated over 100,000 patients who passed through the three clinics spread throughout Metropolitan Seoul. 

We have dedicated our research and treatment to enhance skin pigmentation, texture, elasticity, pore minimization and contour. Our doctors and staff value non-surgical cosmetic treatments and promote Korean style medical spa programs that focus on getting the best visible results.

Through an abundance of clinical experience and through the confidence of our dermatologists we pride ourselves in providing an effective medical skin care program while avoiding surgical procedures. Our facility is equipped with the latest and advanced lasers, radiofrequency and ultrasound devices for various cosmetic skin concerns. It is a priority at Wells that we provide effective and safe skin treatments without invasive or surgical procedures.

The creativity of Korean Medical Spa Programs goes beyond the limits of aromatherapy and massage. The programs emerge from the culture of Korea itself. Koreans expect immediate results and it is imperative we provide an effectiveness that manifests itself with each treatment. The relaxation through the program is of course an added bonus. For more than a decade, we at Wells have made it an utmost priority to not only have our patients feel good and relaxed but see immediate results and witness the effectiveness of our treatments first hand. 

Wells Dermatology & Medical Spa has implemented a variety of cosmetic procedures that wasn’t available anywhere else in the world. We have received requests for treatment and consultation from Asian customers from Japan, China, Indonesia, Singapore, as well as Europe and the United States. It is a great joy for us to reach out and connect with people outside of Korea and to help others fulfill their needs and desires for beauty and greater confidence. 

We are also proud that we have increased access to unique methods for skin care that weren’t available outside of Korea. Wells Dermatology & Medical Spa has participated in an exchange of know-how and skills in regards to skin treatments. We have cooperated and provided instruction to Precious Hair and Skin Clinic in Bali, Indonesia, AEON Clinic in Singapore, Baigal SPA and Laser Clinic in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The Korean style of Medical Spa programs received rave reviews and to this day, there exists an interaction between Wells and the abovementioned clinics. 

The great reviews for Wells’ treatments were also featured in prominent magazines and media. In 2014, ‘fashionista.com’ from the United States introduced Dr. Choi Won-Woo as the best dermatologist of Korea, and ‘GAJA magazine’ of France and ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ from Germany provided an honorable mention of Wells Dermatology & Medical Spa in 2015. In 2016, Wells is conducting a study of Acne treatment using Human Micro biomes with leading research institutions with world-class capabilities in genome analysis in United States and Luxembourg.
